mama elephant photo inspiration challenge

I'm so excited to be part of another Mama Elephant photo inspiration challenge, and I hope you'll play along with us.  The prize: a spot on the ME Challenge Team!!!  Seriously, how cool is that!

And, for our inspiration...

I was drawn to the warmth, light and airiness of this picture.  Having had such a cold winter in New York, I long for some sunshine.  My card reflects that hope for brighter days.

Can't see it very well, but I used watercolors on the sequins.  So fun to combine two trends in the crafting world...Definitely a first for me:)

Sometimes I think Mama Elephant is in my head.  Over a year ago, I was exploring the trims and notions stores in NYC's garment district, just salivating over all the sequins...and I remember thinking, why can't someone just design a sequin die?  Then I can make whatever color I want.  Well, thank you Mama Elephant for making my wish come true!
