coffee and donuts

I am thrilled to be the guest designer at CASology this week.  Wow, what an honor!

This week's cue word is "and", which of course gave me the opportunity to make one of those witty "we go together like..." cards.  I pulled out my stash of food stamps and came up with this:

Really though, who doesn't love coffee and donuts?  It's a bit dangerous that there are three Dunkin' Donuts shops within a 5 minute walk from my place.

***Edited to add: I miscounted.  There are actually four Dunkin' Donut shops within a 5 minute walk from my place.  Yikes!

I kept my card clean and simple by using a minimal color scheme and just a few embellishments.  Hope you like it, and hope it didn't make you too hungry:)

Come play along with us at CASology and have a fun time!!!

Stamps: Purple Onion Designs Coffee & Tea Set; WPlus9 Milk & Cookies
Inks: Copic markers, Memento (tuxedo black)
Dies: Mama Elephant Embellished Tag
Other: Wink of Stella glitter brush (clear)

  1. This is so sweet! I love the tiny images and the movement the red and pink hearts add! Great to have you as GD this week!

  2. I could go for that combo right now. Very cute. Thank you so much for joining us this week as our Guest Designer!

  3. Totally adorable! Your colouring is perfect!

  4. This is adorable, Lorraine! I love those Purple Onion stamps and your coloring is gorgeous. And 3 Dunkin' Donuts nearby?? I'd be in big trouble. Especially after falling in love with their Red Velvet Latte while I was in Boston. Mmmmm!

  5. Lorraine, this is adorable AND fun! I love the minimal stamping and coloring. Very sweet. (Now I need to go get a cuppa...hmmm, no doughnuts on the house. Drat!) So great to have you guest designing with us this week!

  6. LOVE, love, love this Lorraine!!
